Had a Great Shootout Today

Today was a big day shooting wise, with over 300 images taken, which is way above average for me at this time of year. Had some great up close shots of some Greater Yellowlegs and the Sandhill Crane family. I'll have more on this tomorrow, just a few of the shots from today.

Juvenile and Adult Sandhill Cranes

The young Sandhill Crane, which is nearly three months old now, is getting big, and is acting just like it's father. In fact this juvenile can be very aggressive at times. This second shot isn't the best, but it does a better job of showing how much the young Crane has grown in the last few months. I might have to do a recap once it reaches the adult stage, just to show how far it has come.
